At least now it is in good hands
more like the thing that's gonna come out in that
That's not bonclay fruit though, probably a better version of it cause we know better versions of same ability in a fruit may exist
No, it is Bonclay's devil fruit, it's the Mane Mane no Mi fruit and if you look on "one piece wiki" you can see that it states the previous user was this old woman and the current user is Bonclay.
Momonuske and Hiyori never lived in royalty.
At first I thought Oden is like Luffy, but he isn’t that similar to him.
Luffy would have saved everyone as soon as he hear about how everyone is getting treated.
Yup thats why I dont even feel sad to what happened him. Mf turned his back to his country without even wanting to know the reason of those smokes when he arrived with roger and now he arrives yrs later demanding the position of shogun🤦♂️. MF really travelled half of the world only to again get fooled by orochi. So I guess he didnt learn anything from his travels except to drink, fight, and bang his wife on a ship containing 50+ ppl. Sry for the harsh words😣
yeah they present him as a charismatic guy that all the big shots loved but I don't see it, he was strong and a good person but such a fool, I cannot understand how he would believe in Orochi's words...
He is a good buy but too naive
Believing Orochi
A guy who even became shogun through lies is just dumb
As you said
The moment he saw the smoke he should have went back to wano
He would have learned much earlier what was going on and could have even begged for the roger pirates to help
It would have maybe taken a week to kill orochi and defeat kaido with all of them
And then they could have continued sailing
Whitebeard would have definitely killed Kaido for Oden.
And Roger would probably do it because "why not? I'm dying anyway."
Yeah, literally his fatal flaw is just that he wasnt very smart. He had to make a lot of important decisions on his own and just made the wrong ones. It couldnt really have been helped.
He didn't even ask about his dad when the last time they spoke, he was really ill. If he at least did that then he would have heard about Orochi being the new shogun. Maybe then he would have felt compelled to stay.
No, Oden asked his father but his father answered that he's okay
I've read way too many ntr doujins to not think about what would have happened on that ship.
Me and you both.... Me and you both
Ayo your pfp is a little sus🤨
im getting back flashes right now
Lmao😂
True, if he had noticed and asked why there were smokes, especially when all his retainers wanted to at least tell him about the important stuff. All he had to do was, "Yo Roger, kick Kaido's ass" not to mention he had most of the samurais under his influence too
Yeah, all he cared about was his own adventure and when it ended, he suddenly remembered about his shogun position!!?
Yeah I just wish there was a more compelling reason to dance naked for 5 years other than "Okay I believe you." Like DUDE! He cheated you out of your birthright, has been ruining the country, his servants just tried to kill you, and they killed your dad and you think they'll keep their deal?!
I guess Oda wanted to make this takeover different from Dressrossa, but they still could have had more aid blackmail or something.
I guess I have higher expectations for Oden, believing Orochi's promise and making a fool out of himself for 5 years was too foolish of him :( he could've attacked Kaido and Orochi together with his 9 retainers earlier. Oh well.
Oden found a way to keep civilian casualties as low as possible. keeping the "peace" in Wano. Not to mention, Oden had just returned from his journey so he did not know much about the snake Orochi. we also shouldnt forget that Oden had been members of 2 pirate crews with really trustworthy crewmates/captains. Kaido came from the same crew as whitebeard, so Oden must have thought he could be trusted.
basicly by not going into an all out war he saved a lot of lifes.
he won in the short run, lost in the long run for his country
I tried not to, but then I blinked.
Oden was a fool
A strong fool but still a fool
I wish nothing but pain and suffering to orochi 😤
I'm kinda angry at Oden to be honest, dude didn't learn a god damn thing apparently, how can he believe a promise made by someone that usurped the throne, probably killed his father, let some pirate start ruining the country and even went after his wife and children life!? like come on!!! People were right to insult him
this oden guy is the real villain of the wano arc lmao. Left wano unattended for his selfishness. Came back knowing it is in bad condition but still going anyway. believe a fckin scum and dancing like an idiot for 5 years. Making his own people suffered for 20 whole years. and people still praise him. Great lol
Hhhmm yes he was a fool
But a amazing , charismatic great fool not someone with a smoll peanut brain like u
I want to punch orochi's punchable face so badly
i agree with kaido, oden is a fool, did he think orochi and kaido would just leave wano after a promise?, he travelled the world with WB and Roger pirates and this is wat he learned?.
height of stupidity, he should have killed orochi when he first charged him despite orochi hold some people hostage or not cause even if he went to war against them people are bound to die and wano is in worst condition until strawhats and heart pirates came to wano later.
I mean, Whitebeard and Roger are the type of pirates to honor agreements and promises.
even kaido said he became like this because he traveled with roger and whitebeard.. he was worried oden was as hotblooded as he was rumored, but he came back another man.
Oda really f*cked with Oden
He became really pathetic
I just blinked 36 times while watching this episode, am I going to jail now?
I want to defend Oden. He looks fool to us because we are viewers. We know what is going behind him and what kind of people they are. I think Oden believed their promise because in Samurai World they take promises very seriously and always fulfill them, else they will do Sepukku. I am not sure though, but this seems a possible explanation.
And many people would have died in a war. If it was only orochi he could have ended it easily. But Kaido can take a whole army by himself so he chose that path.
Another point that people are saying is he left his country to enjoy. I still think that is fine. Man needs his freedom. He followed his heart. After enjoying all he wanted, he came back to do his duty. And that is relatable to me. I am Indian and in our myths most often you find prince roaming the world, getting more mature, learning ways of the world, making their name in the world and then returning to their kingdom to apply the wisdom. It doesn't apply to this case exactly but I understand. If somebody else had occupied the land but won the hearts of Wano people then he wouldn't have done anything.
But one thing I agree is he should have asked Whitebeard for help. I have seen this often in One Piece and other animes, that the male characters rarely ask for others help. I don't know why. Luffy will never ask for help in a fight. They don't want to owe to someone. Its like they take care of their own business and don't want to trouble anyone for their mess. I think it is somewhat related to Japanese culture.
Yasopp left his wife and children, Dragon left his wife and children, Garp left his grandson with mountain bandits, Oden left his wife and children (though reluctantly). This seems a common occurrence in one piece. lol. But I still love this anime. Not for the action but the moments.
It's an anime dad thing. Ging in Hunter x Hunter left Gon and Goku leaves Gohan and Goten all the time. he only one with a decent dad is Ichigo from Bleach.
I do like that about Indian stories. The prince always roams before coming home.
Damn that war animation was too good
Straight outta star wars
Dude oden would’ve beat kaido
all of this wouldn't have happened, he didn't need to dance naked like a fool, to lose his wife, to be separated from his kids and father and to die in vain only if he didn't leave wano unattended all these years....
if he wouldn't have roger might have had run out of time, he would have died before execution and pirate era wouldn't come to be
this all happened because of Oda's plott
i wanna punch orochi until his teeth came off, that damn monkey
me too i want to torture him til he die
Okay so oden is really an idiot, oda really want him to loose very worse that he wrote these recent eps so bad, no matter how many hostages orochi have taken oden can really defeat him, but no oda really don't want that
you know It's gonna be awesome when even the narrator is telling us to watch closely
Sheesh! Guys, we know Orocki and Kaido are a bitch but Oden just arrived to find out his country was ravaged. He was supposed to be the next shogun and Orochi was just a proxy, so in a way no one would be harmed and Oden to get the throne, he went along with Orochi's promise. He was not a fool, he was just naïve is all. Know this, the moment he realized he was betrayed and country couldnt survive if he didn't fight, he retaliated.
Yare Yare Daze
i hate the fact that the previous owner of bartholomew and bonclay fruit is an asshole
